Based on Tom Philpotts oral history and set against the background of the Vietnam War, Glory Denied tells the true story of Colonel Jim Thompson, Americas longest-held prisoner of war. Glory Denied deals not only with Thompsons suffering in the jungle prisons of Southeast Asia, but also with the tragic aftermath that followed his liberation.
